Agreement

By creating an account, opening a shared link, or otherwise using Vibe Roadtrip (the website at viberoadtrip.com and the mobile app — together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

What the Service is

Vibe Roadtrip is a trip-planning tool. It lets you assemble stops into a day plan, estimates drive times and routes using third-party data, optionally suggests an ordering or a draft plan using AI, and lets you share plans with other people. It is an informational planning aid only.

It is not a navigation system

• The Service does not provide turn-by-turn navigation. Tapping “Navigate” hands you off to Google Maps or another mapping app, which is governed by its own terms.
• Routes, distances, drive times, arrival estimates, sunset times, and “drift” or schedule projections are estimates built from third-party data. They can be wrong, out of date, or unavailable, and they do not account for real-time hazards, closures, weather, traffic, vehicle limitations, or road conditions.
• Never operate the Service while driving. A driver must rely on their own judgment, the road in front of them, and applicable law — not on anything this app displays. Passengers should handle the phone; drivers should pull over first.

You are responsible for your trip

Travel involves inherent risk. You alone are responsible for deciding whether a stop, route, activity, trail, beach, road, or destination is safe, legal, open, and suitable for you, your vehicle, and the people with you. Check official sources (park services, road agencies, weather services, posted signage) before and during travel. Nothing in the Service is advice — professional, safety, medical, legal, or otherwise.

Third-party content and services

Place names, addresses, photos, opening status, routes, and drive times come from Google Maps Platform and other third parties. Links you or other users attach (booking sites, articles, menus) lead to sites we don’t control. We don’t verify, endorse, or guarantee any of it. A business appearing in a plan is not a recommendation; its hours, prices, and existence can change without notice.

AI-generated content

Features marked with ✨ (ordering a day, generating a draft plan, suggesting meals or charging stops) use artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or simply made up — a suggested stop may be closed, misplaced, misnamed, or unsuitable. AI suggestions are a starting point for your own research, not a statement of fact. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it.

User content and sharing

• Plans, notes, photos, comments, and other content you add remain yours. You grant us the license needed to store, display, and share that content the way the product works (for example, showing a plan to people who have its link, listing a public plan in Explore, or rendering link previews).
• You’re responsible for what you post, and don’t post content you don’t have rights to. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users— no harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, or anything unlawful. Content is filtered before it’s published, we review every report within 24 hours, offending content is removed, and serious or repeat offenders have their accounts terminated.
• You can report any comment, plan, or profile from within the app, and blockany user — a blocked user’s content and comments no longer appear for you, and they can’t comment on your plans. If something breaks these rules, report it and we’ll act on it within 24 hours.
• Content other users share — including plans you find in Explore or receive by link — remains theirs, and a shared plan is one person’s idea of a day, not a vetted itinerary.
• An “unlisted” plan or trip is reachable by anyone who has its link. Think before sharing links that contain personal details.

Location and live features

Live trip mode and convoy features share your approximate location with the other people on that trip, only while the feature is on and the app is in use. These features are best-effort: presence, positions, and “live” updates can lag, drop, or fail entirely. Don’t depend on them for safety, supervision, or emergencies. In an emergency, use your local emergency services, not this app.

Availability

The Service is provided free of charge (with optional paid features) and without any uptime commitment. It may change, break, lose data, or shut down at any time. Export or record anything you can’t afford to lose. We may modify or discontinue features, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE CREATES ANY WARRANTY.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER AND OPERATOR OF VIBE ROADTRIP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, PROPERTY, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE — INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES ARISING FROM TRAVEL UNDERTAKEN USING PLANS, ROUTES, TIMES, OR SUGGESTIONS SHOWN IN THE SERVICE; FROM THIRD-PARTY DATA, CONTENT, OR SERVICES; FROM AI-GENERATED CONTENT; FROM OTHER USERS’ CONTENT OR CONDUCT; OR FROM UNAVAILABILITY OR LOSS OF DATA — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR TEN U.S. DOLLARS (US$10).

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you; in that case liability is limited to the smallest extent the law allows.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer and operator of Vibe Roadtrip from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your travel, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

Apple App Store

If you use the iOS app: these terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support, is not responsible for any product claims, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
